Careers and Job Opportunities for Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club
Nestled among 225 sculptured and manicured acres of prime land just 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa, the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club is one of Ontario's oldest golf and curling facilities.
Having proudly celebrated its centennial in 2008, the Hunt Club has weathered a Depression, two world wars, and a fire that razed the original clubhouse to earn the reputation as one of the premier private golf, curling, and social clubs in Canada.
The Hunt Club is a four-season facility offering a 27-hole championship golf course that challenges all handicap levels and six sheets of ice that support a popular curling program for social and competitive curlers of all levels.
In the recently renovated and handsomely furnished Clubhouse, members enjoy fine dining, professional service, and a sense of community that has been a hallmark of the Club for over 100 years.
Commitment to the Environment
In 2008, the Hunt Club was recognized as a fully certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary - the certification by Audubon International bears testament to the Club's environmental stewardship. The Club has developed an environmental stewardship plan to help enhance the natural areas and wildlife habitats of its property while minimizing any potentially harmful impacts from golf course operations. The plan encompasses Environmental Planning, Wildlife and Habitat Management, Outreach and Education, Chemical Use Reduction, Water Quality Management, and Water Conservation.
