Founded in 1927, Farmington Country Club is a platinum rated member-owned private club in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Clubhouse includes 40 overnight guest rooms with magnificent grounds that are maintained by a large staff of dedicated groundskeepers. Food and beverage facilities include two a la carte dining rooms, each with its own kitchen, seating 300; four private dining rooms seating 180; a ballroom that accommodates 250; and two seasonal snack bars. Athletic facilities include 28-holes of golf; 15 outdoor tennis courts; three indoor tennis courts and three paddle tennis courts; an Olympic-size swimming pool; and a fitness center.
Culinary Advantages Our culinary staff is responsible for the daily production of food for the Club's banquet events, in addition to its casual dining and fine dining restaurants. Farmington's Culinary Brigade, led by Executive Chef, Michael Matarazzo, CEC, utilizes the latest techniques and contemporary presentations to provide an experience that is second to none.
