ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1.Comprehend and abide by all traffic regulations while transporting customers to and from the airport terminal or other designated site.

2.Park guest vehicles andor retrieve valet parked guest vehicles in a timely and courteous manner use claim tickets to ensure appropriate delivery of vehicle. Move from door post to and from other areas throughout the hotel in response to customer needs.

3.Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Open car doors for arriving and departing hotel customers.

4.Respond immediately to customer inquiries regarding hotel features, services and assistance. Provide clear and understandable directions to hotel facilities and nearby attractions.

5.Maintain driveway traffic flow to allow main hotel entrance accessibility ensuring ample space for passenger and luggage loading and unloading.

6.Listen, understand and respond immediately to guest and associate inquiries and requests for assistance.

7.Lift luggage, packages and boxes from cars, buses, vans and carts, placing items on the ground, onto baggage carts, conveyors or other vehicles.

8.Clearly communicate the features, and services of the hotel facilities.

9.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.

10.Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Safety Security
The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have a Valid Drivers License
Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance
Must be willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to communicate with guests, respond to questions, knowledge of hotel service, local area events and activities.
Ability to drive vans, limousines and automobiles.
Have an excellent driving record as verified by a Motor Vehicle Report.
Ability to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists.
Ability to grasp, lift andor carry or otherwise move packages, boxes and luggage with sufficient manual dexterity in both hands to be able to load and unload luggage up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand, walk andor sit and continuously perform essential job functions. Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling andor walking.
