REPORTS TO:  Talent Acquisition and Development Manager


SUPERVISES DIRECTLY:  N/A


Purpose for the Position:  Working with the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager, the Talent Acquisition and Development Coordinator will provide Real Hospitality Group and its portfolio of hotels and resorts support with the full cycle recruitment process and development of talent.  This individual will work closely with the Corporate Human Resources Team, General Managers, and Human Resources Representatives at the properties to ensure all staffing requirements are met while promoting a leadership culture.


Essential Responsibilities:



  1. Provide a professional and courteous service at all times.

  2. Support a fast-paced recruiting department with posting positions, screening, interview scheduling, candidate communications, and providing a seamless candidate experience with every interaction.

  3. Administer access to Applicant Tracking System and assist hiring managers with use.

  4. Answer questions and direct hiring managers and/or candidates accordingly.

  5. Assist candidates with the online application process.

  6. Administer Background Screening procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations.

  7. Administer onboarding forms.

  8. Support the Talent Acquisition Leader in Talent Acquisition initiatives, programs, and projects.

  9. Assist in planning and executing New Hire Orientation and other corporate training initiatives specific to associate development and retention.

  10. Maintain recruiting materials such as new hire packets, recruitment packets, flyers, and other resources to ensure availability for recruitment events including job fairs.

  11. Coordinate and schedule on-site and off-site recruiting events.

  12. Assist in the coordination and maintenance of the learning management and development systems and programs across the corporate portfolio of managed properties as directed by the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager.

  13. Assist and coordinate activities related to the Corporate Responsibility platform and Mentorship Program as directed by the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager.

  14. Serve as an advocate and catalyst for Real Hospitality Group by reinforcing our culture and values.

  • Be available for work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.


Physical Demands:  Lifting 10 lbs. maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as dockets, ledgers, and small tools.  Walking and standing are required only occasionally.  Reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.


Environmental Conditions:  Inside:  Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.  A job is considered "inside" if the associate spends approximately 75% or more of the time inside.


Math Skills:  Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to:  Compute discount, interest, profit and loss, commission, markups and selling price, ratio and proportion, and percentages.  Calculate surface, volumes, weights and measures.


Language Skills:  Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to:  Read newspapers, periodicals, journals, and manuals.  Write business letters, summaries and reports using prescribed format and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.  Participate in discussions and debates.  Speak extemporaneously on a variety of subjects.


Relationships to Data, People and Things:


Data:  Compiling:  Gathering, collating, or classifying information about data, people or things.  Reporting and/or carrying out a prescribed action in relation to the information is frequently involved.


People:  Speaking-Signaling:  Talking with and/or signaling people to convey or exchange information.  Includes giving assignments and or directions to helpers or assistants.


Things:  Operating-Controlling:  Starting, stopping, controlling and adjusting the progress of machines or equipment.  Operating machines involves setting up and adjusting the machine or materials as the work progresses.  Controlling involves observing and turning devices to regulate reactions of materials.


Specific Vocational Preparation:  College degree required.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional with an emphasis on Word, PowerPoint and Excel to format and create professional documents to be used and distributed on the executive level.  Candidate must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties to complete within required deadlines.  Creativity to accomplish required tasks, such as documents being appealing to the eye, to find and research various information needed to complete and compile reports.
