The Senior Analyst for Revenue Support will utilize revenue, sales and market share data (STR) using SQL, VBA, VB.NET, Microsoft Access, Cognos and Microsoft Excel, to develop reports, analyses, and form views about the business that will support the strategy and decision making within the RMCC. The Team Member will proactively engage and develop professional working relationships with other members of the RMCC team and enterprise in order to understand their needs, share information on business trends, and identify business opportunities.

What will I be doing?

The Senior Analyst for Revenue Support will manage and deliver on ad-hoc requests from senior leadership including in depth analysis for time sensitive topics. The Team Member will lead projects from inception to rollout by gathering technical requirements, providing timely status updates and holding Team Members accountable.

Other key priorities are listed below:

* Provide or coordinate the support of business processes using corporate systems
* The above will include the utilization and interpretation of reporting results
* Systems used will include: OnQ Revenue Management, OnQ Forecast Management, GRO and OnQ Rate & Inventory
* Develop analyses for pertinent metrics and dimensions, sharing metrics with RMCC teams to help improve the quality of subsequent business decisions
* Develop new reports and tools to drive efficiency, improve reporting metrics and business processes
* Manage reporting requests and provide insights to help senior management better understand the key drivers and opportunities for the future
* Create and structure PowerPoint presentations to provide leadership detailed information in a concise manner
* Must have the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
* Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, and modelling skills essential
* Excellent written communication skills required to produce communications that properly reflects the Hilton image
* Effective verbal communication and presentation skills to explain detailed instructions to individuals or groups
* Proven ability to manage deadlines within a project-oriented workload

  • Associate's Degree
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience
  • Experience with business analytics and data processing such as data management, report development, and data mining
  • Proficiency with SQL, VBA, MS Access, PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to manage extensive amounts of information and provide constructive feedback and direction
  • Ability to manage and organize projects consistent with department and company objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively under time and resource constraints
  • Proven track record of effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree with course work in Business Administration or Information Technology
  • A minimum of three (3) years of programming experience with VBA, VB.NET, SQL or similar programs
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Business Analytics experience with Microsoft Access, Excel or similar programs
  • A minimum of two (2) years of Supervisory experience
  • A minimum of one (1) year of server-based database development experience with Microsoft SQL
  • A minimum of one (1) year of report development experience with Microsoft Access, Crystal Reports, Cognos, Microsoft Reporting Services or similar reporting software
  • A minimum of one (1) year of Hotel or Hospitality experience in Sales, Revenue Management, Catering or Meeting services
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience with Hospitality Technology systems preferred, such as, DMPE, Global/SFA, CRS, PMS, CRM, OnQ Revenue Management, OnQ Forecast Management, GRO and OnQ Rate & Inventory
