The Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel will be opening as a chic hotel in the heart of downtown Toledo with sweeping views of the Maumee River from the rooftop bar on the 12th floor. The interior design of the hotel is inspired from the local glass culture and will feature a trendy three meal restaurant and the Renaissance signature “R” Lounge on the main floor.

Position Summary:

Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel is looking for Room Attendants that want to be a part of our fun and cooperative team. Experience working as a housekeeping associate with a hotel is preferred but more importantly we are looking for a passion for creating beautiful spaces, pride in what you do, and an attention to detail.

What your job entails:

* Clean and style guest rooms, public areas, and employee areas of the hotel with efficiency and attention to detail.

* Refresh and replenish guest rooms with amenities, supplies, and linen.

* Prevent guest issues by inspecting rooms and reporting anything that needs repaired or replaced.

* When a guest issue does arise you take ownership of the problem and graciously resolve the issue.

* Model the highest possible example in conduct, temperament, attendance, punctuality, and standards of work.

* Work as in integral part of the hotel team, using all performance metric tools, to meet our cleanliness, customer service, and revenue goals.

* Take on any additional tasks.
Job Requirements
Requirements:

* Two-three years of housekeeping experience. Preferably with a hotel.

* Flexible schedule and able to work different shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

* Able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling and kneeling while cleaning.

* A strong attention to detail.

* Able to follow written and verbal directions.
