To actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true by providing and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in guest accommodation.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include but not limited to:)
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, owners and other staff members at all times
  • Clean apartments as assigned, in accordance with “The Manager’s” standard  to ensure cleaning of all guests rooms is satisfactorily completed within allotted timeframe
  • Maintain pantry in a clean and orderly condition.  Keep pantries stocked with supplies only as instructed
  • Check all items not removed from apartment at each turn are in good condition and clean, e.g. bedspreads, blankets and mattress protectors
  • Ensure that the rooms are equipped with the necessary facilities, i.e. crockery, linen, information leaflets, etc by replenishing these daily or as required by guest
  • Check all soft furnishings in guest rooms for stains or damage
  • Ensure corridors and service areas are clean at all times
  • Assist other members of the department in keeping the guest accommodation clean
  • Empty vacuums and report any maintenance required
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Resort Management team
  • Employees must ensure they comply with WHM’s OH&S Policy, procedures and any reasonable instruction given by WHM.
  • Employees must not willfully place at risk the health and safety of themselves or any other persons in the workplace and to not willfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health and safety.

The Position
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and comfort in guest accommodation. Carrying out key daily tasks in the Housekeeping Department and most importantly delivering a high level of customer service to actively contribute to the company vision of making holiday dreams come true.
