Full Time Administrative - Private Events Coordinator position from 10 am - 6 pm. Expect to work weekends and evenings as necessary.

Catering assistant serves as a coordinator for Catering Department and Catering Sales Managers (CSM)
The job encompasses a variety of tasks and duties required to provide complete event services to our members.
Most of the time is spent in the office while communicating interdepartmentally and with members, clients and our team.
The candidate must have exceptional interpersonal skills for working with our members and representatives of fortune 1000 companies.
A CAN DO attitude that is positive, professional, friendly, outgoing and organized.
Team player with the ability to multitask and shift gears, as we get a lot of interruptions. Must be able to keep track of and coordinate multiple events taking place. Must be solution oriented.
A keen eye for detail
A desire to do events and be in hospitality. Must be extremely hospitable in nature, patient and detail oriented.
Must dress professionally. Must dress in business attire.
Organizational skills and etiquette are a must.
Responsibilities include answering telephones, handling inquiries, and managing leads.
You will provide operational support, distribute event details. (banquet event orders and floor plans)
Manages shipping and receiving of packages for events.
You will be a representative of the Private Events Management team and must be professional and polished.
Experience with a full service hotel or club is required with 300- 500+ event space
Strong experience in catering and banquet office.
Food & Beverage service experience required in the social events industry required.
Hospitality degree or equivalent training.
Experience using online Catering sales systems and highly competent with computer.
Must be able to coordinate and move move guest/member belongings as needed.
