ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Is knowledgeable about the wine list, wines-by-the-glass, liqueur, liquor, ports and cocktails.
Serves guests according to the specific group contract.
Writes order on check or memorizes it.
Relays order to Banquet Captain and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
Operate dishwasher when staffing not provided.
Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services as determined by establishment's size and practices.
Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
Complete set up for the following shift.
