Why Us Fairfield Inn Duluth seeking a Part Night Audit associate for Friday and Saturday overnights. This position is part time. Starting pay at $10 per hour, more for experienced hospitality professionals.The newly renovated Fairfield Inn Duluth hotel is a comfortable, convenient choice among Duluth, MN hotels. Near the Duluth airport (just 2 miles away) and Miller Hill Mall, our Duluth hotel is also close to the University of Minnesota Duluth, the College of St. Scholastica and the AMSOIL Arena. Canal Park is 10 minutes from us. Take a drive on the North Shore Scenic Drive or visit the popular Lake Superior Zoo and Great Lakes Aquarium, just minutes away.

Posting Overview

Auditor serves as over night Front Desk associate, and balances reports on the various areas of the hotel provides accurate, timely information and to ensure company and Hotel policies and procedures are followed and to prevent fraud. Responds in a professional and courteous manner to arriving, departing and in-house guests by providing accurate and timely information and services. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns. Maintains laundry operations. Assists breakfast attendant with breakfast preparations.

Abilities

90% of shift is standing, Bending/kneeling - repeated bending and kneeling required while filing, Mobility - must be able to reach all areas of hotel to assist clients. Prolonged standing. Occasional carrying and lifting of files and office items up to 25 lbs. Moving laundry carts up to 50 lbs.

Education/Formal Training

High school education or equivalent experience.

Experience

Accounting background preferred, but not required.

Material/Equipment Used

Personal computer, telephone, cash banks, calculator -approximately 90-95% of time, laundry equipment.

Environment

Prolonged standing at indoor, thermostatically climate-controlled work station under florescent lighting. Work inside 95%
