Position Summary

Work with the Senior Manager Marketing Operations EMEA and Senior Director Marketing Operations EMEA, in the implementation of marketing initiatives in concert with brand & regional marketing teams. Initiatives to be focused on various customer segments served by Hilton Worldwide Portfolio of brands, to meet brand market share, customer Share of Wallet (SOW) and key business objectives, as appropriate.

Assume tactical responsibility for multiple concurrent projects including coordinating activities among multiple internal and external teams.

What will I be doing?

Project Management Activities 40%

Through collaboration with the wider Marketing Operations team, manages the annual calendar of campaign activity and assume responsibility for consolidating all required information on shared systems and team sites.
Support the Senior Manager on the implementation of all promotions. Responsible for proof reading and sign off of all landing pages and any other collateral as well as testing of all promotional emails.
Responsible for managing the translation process for all promotions liaising with agencies and the regional marketing teams
Manage projects in collaboration with Revenue Management & eCommerce as directed by the Senior Manager. Work with the revenue management reporting to define the featured hotels for retailing on landing pages and emails on a regular basis.
Liaise with the ecommerce team to ensure smooth delivery of promotional activity for online retailing.

Coordinating Activities 35%

Assume responsibility for internal processing of promotions, including completion and routing of offers and communicating with internal teams to ensure campaign success..
To monitor competitor activity and compile a look book as reference material.
Responsible for the consolidation all promotional activity into a one stop reference site
Assist Senior Manager and Senior Director in the implementation of marketing initiatives.
Assist in maintaining the relationship with brand-specific marketing teams (DoubleTree and HGI etc.) and regional marketing teams..
Work with internal marketing teams and external creative agencies in development of appropriate collateral for selected initiatives.
Supports the Senior Manager in working with legal teams to ensure all promotions are clearly communicated to customer to avoid complaints and potential legal action to the business.

Admin Activities 25%

Develop and maintain understanding of Hilton databases, internal systems and operations procedures/practices to ensure adequate cost-effective support for marketing initiatives. Lead the day to day management of creative asset systems and toolkits.
Responsible for processing and logging of all invoices
Assists the team in organizing travel & meetings where necessary.



Supportive Functions
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

Assist in preparation of program presentations including building PowerPoint decks and developing other presentation materials as warranted.
Any and all other job duties as assigned

Required Qualifications / Experience

Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint.

Basic understanding of business mathematics:

including ability to calculate percentage changes and averages/weighted averages;

Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including ability to understand/manipulate basic spread sheets

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, including taking initiative when appropriate to move projects forward

Strong problem solving skills, including both operational and promotional elements of the program, includes ability to overcome obstacles

Ability to develop presentation materials including PowerPoint slide shows
Absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

Post-secondary degree/diploma preferred - CIM/Marketing or experience in lieu of
Experience in travel industry or direct/relationship marketing, or working for a creative/direct marketing agency with experience supporting clients in these industries.
