Lead Spa Concierge/Front Desk Supervisor - Year Round - Full Time 

Responsible for lead function within spa concierge and attendant team.  Provides day-to-day work direction to team members; enforces policies and procedures; trains and guides staff; and resolves issues and problems. May be responsible for assisting with payroll and conducting end of month inventory of products and supplies. Performs all tasks for which work group is responsible.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the selection, training, supervision and success of all spa and salon team members.
  • Capable of creating a motivational atmosphere and a cohesive team.
  • Delegates authority appropriately to various team members and follows up on all projects and issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Is actively involved in the operation through daily interaction with both the staff and resort guests.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
  • Demonstrates proactive leadership qualities in both the daily operation of the Spa/Salon as well as in long-term visioning.
  • Conduct end of month retail inventory of products and supplies.
  • Conduct closing shift reports and reconcile all cash, credit card, and room charges, account for any discrepancies.
  • Ensures that the guest experience is pleasant in regard to atmosphere, service and quality.  Adheres to the Resort brand/ performance standards.
  • Work closely with groups and bridal parties to ensure all participants are properly booked and well taken care of.
  • Promote all spa programs/activities by discussing other department areas that may assist guests with a total resort experience. Must keep current with spa calendar – programs, events and activities.
  • Walk through spa facility ensure proper supplies and amenities in locker rooms and relaxation lounge.
  • Adheres to the Spa/Salon operational budget and payroll forecasts.
  •  Establishes and enforces internal cost and labor controls.
  • Responsible for developing revenue enhancement programs (promotions) to increase the number of services and retail sales in the spa/salon
  • Responsible for attending numerous Resort wide meetings and communicating all relevant information to the Spa and Salon team.
  • Maintain storage areas to ensure cleanliness, freshness, and organization.
  • Frequent checks of equipment and facility to ensure safety and prevent loss of equipment and/or injury to users.
  • Assist with guest follow up concerning retail requests.
  • Other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

  • College Degree in hospitality or business related field preferred.
  • Two years experience in a spa supervisory role preferred. 
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Word, Excel, Outlook preferred.
