Laundry Supervisor

Position Description

Clean linens and fresh towels are essential for guest comfort. And our guests' comfort is critical to our success. The team and hotel leadership trust your expertise in ensuring the maintenance and safe handling of laundry equipment. As Laundry Supervisor, you will


  • Guide a diverse team and oversee Laundry operation shifts. Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Communicate regularly, openly and clearly. Keep a pulse on and manage staffing needs and inform leadership proactively of noteworthy situations.

  • Provide training to the team by sharing what you know and modeling the way as a department "Lead" to safely operate laundry equipment and complete tasks to deliver "just right" fresh linen.


  • Do your part to drive smooth, efficient laundry operations. Ensure laundry equipment is clean and fully functional, reporting required repairs and routine maintenance without fail.

  • Help keep track of linen, par levels and supply inventories.

Fundamentals

Previous experience in a laundry facility and at least one year of supervisory experience is required. Basic verbal and written English communication skills are needed for success in this role; and, a second language may be needed. Thorough knowledge of laundry operations and the ability to operate laundry equipment is expected. This position requires full mobility, continuous movement and standing, the ability to regularly lift and push up to 75 pounds, and carry up to 50 pounds.
