JOB SUMMARY
The IT Project Transition Manager will maintain checklists, installation schedules and checklist, training schedules and timelines as it relates to the IT Project and Transition. The IT Project Transition Manager will also coordinate all IT Systems with the on-property manager as well as Construction General Contractor or Construction Project Manager to coordinate installation schedules. Work with the Vice President of Information Technology and all other disciplines to transition a hotels technology in and transition a hotels technology out of the Crescent portfolio as it relates to systems and applications. Project Manage capital budgets for IT systems for hotel ownership approval.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Be one of the IT main points of contact for property technology projects and transitions. Schedule and publish lists to the respective departments during regularly scheduled project and transition meetings. Work closely with all other transition teams, hotel staff and vendors to successfully transition hotels to or from Crescent systems, applications and any other corporate or brand requirements. Helps implement PCI initiatives assist in remediation of PCI failures and works closely with the corporate team in defining property connectivity options and helps with PCI security initiatives. Promote expectations and requirements to hotel technology users on effective technology usage based on published standards. Evaluates information technology requirements for hotels and resorts and recommends essential programs. Support the implementation of property-based technology and assist with the introduction of new technologies. Enforce company and departmental policies and procedures to help ensure compliance.
NON-ESSENTIAL responsibilities
Participates in job related training classes, conventions, and seminars as directed. In addition to performance of essential functions, position may be called upon for aid concerning project completion, or assisting the Technology teams in what may be deemed as an Emergency situation. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned by management
LEADERSHIP QUALITIES Strong technical skills including PC and Networks A solid understanding of the hospitality business and the application of Information Technology to that business. Proven project management and budgeting skills. A minimum of three years in a management or supervisory position responsible for the ongoing operation of Information Technologysystems. Ability to communicate with all levels of management.

Proficiency in mainstream PC desktop applications, and the effective use of Internet technology and services. Strong communication skills both verbal and written Theoretical understanding of PMS concepts Practical understanding of Front Office procedures Familiarity with Delphi, POS and other Hotel applications
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education Experience
Bachelors Degree in business or technology related discipline or equivalent experience required. A minimum of 5 years of related progressive experience in IT Project Management or related field. Experience working with technical staff.
Physical Requirements
Long hours sometimes required. Ability to travel Ability to climb stairs, ladders etc.
Mental Requirements
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly. Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure. Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. Must have the ability to assemble complex information, data, etc., from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraints of the particular need. Must be able to prioritize departmental functions in order to meet due dates and deadlines.
