Hiring for Fall and Winter

Starting Wage: $13.07

Information and Reservations Representatives sell and reserve lodging packages to potential guests via in-bound calls. We provide detailed information regarding all aspects of the resort and its offerings.  As the “voice” of Blue Mountain, we service Fully Independent Travelers (FIT), conference guests and the general public.


  • Sell and/or reserve lodging for leisure, group and conference guests
  • Consistently use the Blue Mountain Resorts sales script while striving to consistently achieve set sales targets
  • Provide customers with detailed information about Blue Mountain
  • Up-sell/reserve various programs/lessons offered through snow school & child care
  • Sell gift cards and season passes
  • Stay up-to-date with new and changing information through various resources provided
  • Participate in staff events to increase knowledge of resort offerings


  • Thrives in a sales environment; some previous sales experience an asset
  • Previous Call Centre experience an asset
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills – Comfortable working with multiple systems
  • Strong typing skills required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented and efficient; able to remain calm under pressure
  • Enthusiastic and friendly with a professional telephone manner
  • Articulate, with a good command of the English language
  • Enjoys working in a team atmosphere

Must be available to work shifts; including evenings, weekends and holidays

Full Time Seasonal – typically 4 – 5 shifts per week; 6 – 8 hours in length

Part Time Seasonal – typically 2 – 5 shifts per week; 4 – 5 hours in length, mostly morning – early afternoon (9am – 2pm)
