PHG manages, develops, finances, and owns hotels and resorts located in California, Hawaii, Arizona and Louisiana. We currently own and manage 11 hotels and resorts, representing over 2,676 rooms and 203,650 square feet of premier indoor meeting and event space.
The HR Payroll Analyst primary focus is multi-payroll processing and supporting the maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS). This individual will assist with all task related to payroll processing for bi-weekly & semi-monthly payrolls, Payroll journal entries, creating custom reports, connection feeds with benefit providers, benefit billing, and testing of system changes. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRMS upgrades, implementations, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRMS system upgrades. Collaborate with staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRMS system. Document process and results.
Provide support for HRMS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Recommend process/customer service improvements, or innovative solutions.
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing purposes. Help maintain data integrity in systems by analyzing data.
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train new system users.
Previous Work Experience
One or more years of payroll experience or HRIS experience. Systems implementation experience preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong understanding of the payroll process, and benefit procedures to ensure correct implementation. Knowledge of HRMS database design, functions and processes. Intermediate level experience of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with HRMS such as ADP workforce 2.01, ADP Current Version, Enterprise Enhanced Time. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills. Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects is ideal.
