We are currently seeking a hands on, talented, and professional Hotel EXECUTIVE CHEF for the Holiday Inn San Jose - Silicon Valley. This position is ideal for an experienced Sous Chef that is ready to advance in the hotel industry!   

The Executive Chef is a highly respected position and will report directly to the General Manager, overseeing the entire food and beverage department including all back of house operations to ensure the quality of the food, beverage and service is consistent with the company and Hilton brand guidelines. Additionally, they are responsible for creating a quality experience, marketing of our restaurant to in-house guests, menu design, and cost controls. This position will be responsible for the preparation of an annual budget, reviewing monthly profit and loss statements, and preparing action plans for necessary changes and improvements in product and service standards.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience working within a hotel setting. IHG brand experience is not required but ideal.  Candidates must have prior banquets experience and an exceptional background in food management.  Also, they must be able to supervisor others and properly manage their department. Communication skills are very important and they must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
