The DOS will lead all sales efforts with a focus on corporate, BT and group sales. As a key part of the executive team on property, this role will utilize leadership skills to support a positive and collaborative environment and will manage and mentor a Sales Coordinator. In addition, this role will grow teams internally and externally through ownership of programs like book clubs, team events, and community service. The successful DOS will use their knowledge of Marriott systems as well as of the greater-Dallas market & processes to meet and exceed revenue goals.

Posting Overview

The Director of Sales is responsible for the overall revenue ad market share results of the hotel and demonstrating great leadership. Implements strategies that support the positioning of the property. Partners with the General Manager and the Executive Committee to advise, guide and support on various sales functions and initiatives. Ensures financial and revenue goals are achieved and sales productivity benchmarks are met.

Education/Formal Training

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.


4+ years of hotel sales experience

Material/Equipment Used

Office environment, weather exposure when making sales calls
