Duties & Functions:

� Solicit and book new group business to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication within specific booking guidelines

� Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance as required

� Uncover “new” accounts not currently booking Royalton & Morgans Hotels; turn over accounts once booked for subsequent account management by geographically/vertically deployed group selling team. Pre-screen all accounts according to solicitation guidelines to ensure no duplication of effort.

� Participate in daily Rev Max meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required

� Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers

� Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings

� Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers
