Job Description


Job OverviewResponsible for overall operations, management, revenue and profitability of the department while ensuring the utmost in guest satisfaction. Provide learning and development opportunities for employees; manage the audio visual department in accordance with hotel standards.Essential Functions
  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment
  • Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • Be familiar with all services and features to respond to guest inquiries accurately
  • Manage an efficient and profitable AV operation
  • Focus on revenue maximization & cost control, in accordance with company standard operating procedures
  • Manage and proactively execute the company sales process through advanced client contact
  • Improve and leverage the location and property's market position and share
  • Provide outstanding customer service to clients by establishing excellent working relationships with managers, team members, event Services and all vendors
  • Maintain a positive employee relations environment for all AV team members
  • Lead by example in portraying a polished, professional image according to the guidelines, address employee concerns, maintain adequate staffing levels, and facilitate team development

Job Requirements


  • Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
  • Five years of experience as a Supervisor, preferably in a similar position
  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
  • College degree preferred
  • Certification of previous training in computers
  • Previous guest relations training
  • M-F, 7:30am-5:00pm, weekends and evenings based on business levels
