AHLA recognizes top hospitality employees, properties in U.S.
This week the American Hotel & Lodging Association announced their 2017 "Stars of the Industry" awards at an event hosted by Jenna Bush Hager at the Capital Hilton hotel in Washington D.C. Each year the AHLA releases the list of stand-out employees and properties in the hotel and lodging industry and honors the winners for their professional accomplishments, service, and leadership in hospitality.
"AHLA's Stars of the Industry awards are the most important we bestow every year," said Katherine Lugar, AHLA President and CEO, in a statement. This year's winners, she said, represent "the best of the best" in the hospitality industry, "the people who go above and beyond to serve their guests day in and day out..."
In the end, 8 winners were chosen from a pool of nearly 500 nominees from across the U.S. Winners were ultimately chosen by a robust panel of industry leaders, including Hcareers' own Brand & Product Marketing Manager, Tracy Lammers.
